Overview of the Season
In this game, teams collected balls and launched this into a goal over 4 ft tall. The robots also triggered beacons on the side of the field to gain points. At the end of the game, the teams were able to place a large ball on top of the center vortex for bonus points. The HexaSonics competed in 2 qualifying events this season. At the Allendale Qualifier, the team did well but was not selected in the alliance. The team did get 2nd place Inspire, qualifying them for State. At the Kentwood Event, the team did better, being a 1st pick on the #1 alliance, but got eliminated in the Semi finals. At State, the team made improvements on the robot making them a 1st pick by the #2 alliance, but unfortunately got eliminated in the semi finals ending their season.
