Allendale FTC Team HexaSonics Competing at their home competition
Allendale is proud to host for the 3rd year the Annual Allendale FTC competition with this year’s game: Velocity Vortex! 35 Michigan middle school teams traveled to Allendale Middle School on December 3rd to compete. FTC teams compete in alliance of 2 teams against each other in an effort to score as many points as possible in a 2 minute and 3 second game. This game included scoring small balls in elevated goals, and also the challenge of capping those goals with large exercise balls. The HexaSonics, were unfortunately not chosen into elimination, but, won the PTC Design Award for excellence in Design, and also were first runner-ups for the Inspire award. Congratulations to teams: 10255, 6043, and 10037 for taking home the win at this year’s competition! Also, congratulations to team 10255 the RoboDux, from Zeeland, MI for winning this year’s Inspire award!
